SXSW 2016: Hope meets (Virtual) Reality

We’re no stranger to the “universe-altering” hype surrounding industry events like CES, Health 2.0, and TEDMED. But even the most skeptical were doing double takes at the technological innovation on display at South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive earlier this month. Even more, there’s reason for real optimism that much is tangibly applicable to healthcare (and healthcare marketing) right now.

The Austin, Texas super-summit has been dominated by healthcare themes in recent years, but 2016 felt different. No longer just theoretical, there are now real world implementations to debate and dissect. So the question becomes: how much further can we go?
